Description of the position:
The Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of Project Management on the projects that the candidate is assigned to manage. Initially, this will be on a project-by-project basis. This will develop into a regional approach to cover multiple customers and distributors.
The right individual will have the ability to develop an execution plan that will meet all requirements of purchase contract or order. The Project Manager will need to clearly define commercial requirements and translate these requirements into production documents that can be released to Engineering to process orders. He/she will ensure that all milestones are met on time and on budget. He/she will develop a strong working relationship with both customers and distributors.
Summary of overall responsibilities:
- Scope and scale definition
- Full P/L reporting
- Risk Analysis
- Risk Mitigation
- Preparation and execution of an execution plan
- Maintenance of scheduling and cost – while ensuring customer satisfaction
- As a Team Leader – provide direction to the team to ensure they understand
the commercial requirements.
Requirements:
Education: BSME / BSEE or equivalent experience.
Experience:
- Three (3) to five (5) years of project management or eight (8) to twelve
(12) years of project engineering experience in Power Generation projects.
- Must be fluent in Korean and English – both spoken and written
Personal Factors:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to enable and lead a team – including customers.
