The Korean-American Scientists and Engineers Association (KSEA) is pleased to announce that the National Mathematics and Science Competition (NMSC) will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at major cities across the nation.

The KSEA NMSC is open to all fourth through eleventh grade students. The goal of the NMSC is to stimulate their interests in mathematics and science as well as promote careers in the fields of science and engineering. In 2009, Over 2,000 students participated in the math competition and about 800 students took part in the science competition that were held in 28 different cities throughout the United States.

The NMSC is co-sponsored by the KSEA and the Korea-U.S. Science Cooperation Center (KUSCO) and is managed by the KSEA chapters. The KSEA gives awards in math and students are able to check their individual rankings. Through team-based projects, science competitions foster fun, creative collaboration. National math competition committee and science committee members who are professors, researchers, and industry experts in the United States have worked together to prepare materials for these competitions.
